Cloud Storage Write For Us
cloud storage With so many of us working from home, having a reliable cloud storage provider is more important than ever. You want your office work stored safely away from home, where your data is always a cup of coffee away from disaster. Personal cloud storage started in 2007 when Dropbox CEO Drew Houston was tired of losing his USB drive. So he created the first individual cloud storage service for small businesses. It was a radical idea at the time, and everyone loved it. Today, there are dozens of cheap or free cloud storage providers and services. But, beyond offering you the storage, they are very different.
The Best Cloud Storage Service Overall
Free storage: iDrive starts its offers with 5 GB offered
iDrive is for anyone who wants backup and cloud storage all in one. Its main job is small business backup, but it also works well for personal cloud storage and file sharing.
Unlike many other cloud backup services, iDrive doesn’t limit you to just one computer. You can use an account to back up your Windows and macOS desktop computers, Android smartphones, iPhones and tablets, and network drives. There is also a Linux backup option, which is intended for Linux servers. There is no desktop Linux storage client. Shit! However, you can use its web interface to upload files manually.
Advantage:
- Good price WordPress Hosting
- Works well for backup and storage
- Excellent combination of storage and office services
The inconvenient:
- No native Linux support
- No two-factor authentication
- Relatively slow download speeds
Amazon Cloud storage
Free storage: Prime members get 5G of “free” storage with Amazon Cloud Drive
Amazon S3 from Amazon Web Services (AWS) is an object storage service, and it’s a great service. But that’s not what people use. They use Amazon Cloud Drive for personal and small businesses, and it’s not a top-tier storage service.
Notice Amazon Cloud Drive is better than before. Amazon Cloud Drive now offers Android, iOS, macOS and Windows synchronization services. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a Linux client yet. The web interface, however, is still a bit clunky.
